Introducing Zipwake – a brand set to revolutionize the boat world.

Like many entrepreneurial-driven organisations, Zipwake started with a vision. In this case, to develop and bring to the motorboat world new complete and highly competitive solutions to the well-known trim problems of planing and semi-planing boats. 

In 2011, a carefully selected team of engineers with a solid knowledge and experience from both the marine and automotive industry was put together. After three years of intense product development, the first Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control system, the Series S, was about to be launched in Amsterdam at METS 2014, the world’s largest marine equipment trade show.

Presented with this innovative product Brand Club was asked to create an equally innovative identity for the new brand. An identity making the Zipwake brand stand out from more conventional ways of marketing marine products.

Due to smart high-tech engineering and an easy-to-use hardware the Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control system delivers both added comfort as well as performance to your boat ride – two sought-after qualities rarely combined. Together with the core values efficiencyreliability and innovation it became the foundation on which the new identity was built. As the launch was imminent focus was set on visual identity, packaging design, sales material, the METS 2014 booth, as well as a web page supporting the trade show. 

Zipwake received a massive interest and media attention at METS 2014. For instance it was ranked as the hottest new product for spring 2015 by leading Swedish marine magazine Vi Båtägare. That’s what we would call an introduction.
